Firefight Trust is a nonprofit organization formed in 2013 out of passion and grave concern for the environment constantly battered every year with uncontrolled fires in Zimbabwe. The trust solely looks at reducing the incidence and prevalence of such fires that threaten the future of our ecosystem, biodiversity and animals.
The Trust is funded by personal effort and partnerships with like-minded organizations and the founders run a humble home office. Since its inception Firefight has participated in all annual fire week launches and has established working relationships with the Ministry of environment, EMA, Forestry Commission, Zimbabwe national Parks and other government institutes. The Trust is a trend setter initiating a number of interesting fire related programs.
